Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) was an American actor. Her name has been praised for her film and TV performance since the 1980s. Bassett grew up at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt in New York New York. She was married in 1997. got married to Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama granted a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. She was a student at the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School.
